Kids Culture Camp

Born to Shine Summer Camp 2021
Esther led a summer camp for inner-city kids in East Vancouver in July, serving 31 kids. Our theme was "The 5 Love Languages". The camp is co-hosted by: Culture Regeneration Research Society's Project Shine and Vancouver Urban Ministries.

Glad to see the 50 books I donated are in the hands of kindergarteners from newcomer families at Pacific Immigrant Resources Society. Their mission is to empower immigrant and refugee women and children to fully participate in Canadian life through neighbourhood-based, accessible and inclusive programs.

Their "Chinatown Cares Grocery Delivery Program" ensure access to affordable, fresh, culturally appropriate groceries for isolated Chinese-speaking seniors during the pandemic.
